Location: Washington, DC

Washington, D.C. -- Congresswoman Nancy Mace (SC-01) on Thursday introduced legislation to allow the federal government to lease federally owned properties to nearby local schools for in-person learning through the end of the pandemic.

"The pandemic has hit few groups as hard as our kids. Millions of American children have lost over a year of quality, in-person education due to COVID-19,"Mace said."The LEARN Act gives schools more options as they move back to in-person classes. This won't just impact schools in our nation's capital. This will ensure schools across the nation have every resource available to get kids back in class and get our country back to normal as quickly as possible."
